I was just reading that he's the #1 rated safety for the class of 2017. Does anyone know if we're recruiting him, and if so where do we stand with him? I just haven't heard much about him. Thanks in advance

Honestly. I think we're dead set on ether getting Bell, Avery, or McKinney. We want 2 out of those 3 guys for safety. I think we just took a shot in the dark to see if we could attract Okudah on campus which he was supposed to for the All In cookout but couldn't make it cause of family health issues! Would be nice to hear more about him but I think we're dead set on trying to get 2 out of those 3 guys but new news on Okudah would be nice.

tough time getting him on campus due to the distance. He'd be a take no matter what.
Wish he would have made the All In cookout like he had planned.

Just from what I have heard....
Clemson was in on him "some"...but I think in the last
month or so, some of that has mellowed off. At this
point, I'm not sure he's taking Clemson real serious.
Looks like a OSU lean?
Outside of that, I am hoping Clemson will start making
strides with Devon Hunter or Markquese Bell (J Stevens)

I've been getting that feeling for some time, but was hoping we weren't done in his
recruitment.

Looks like we'll only take one Safety this cycle since we took so many last cycle. Basically it's down to Avery (who we can have if we want, but are slow playing), McKinney (who seems to want us, but the staff doesn't seem to hot about), Bell, and Okudah. It seems to me Okudah is the top choice, Bell is 2nd, and Avery is 3rd on the board. Even though Okudah is a tOSU lean, we should be right there once we get him on campus. Clearly distance isn't an issue for Okudah considering he's from Texas and no Texas schools or Okla appear to be in the mix. He's a guy that will likely wait until the last minute to commit to a school so we should at a minimum get him on an official visit before signing day.
