Why so many Sugar Bowl tickets available?

Did fans buy many outside of Iptay and now selling their Iptay? Did a lot buy through Iptay intending to resell?
Curious as I expected Tigers to be there in droves and now wondering how orange the stadium will really be.

with uppers going under face value. Hopefully people will see this and decide it is worth while to make the trip now from SC. Unfortunately I can definitely see bama fans doing this as they are a tad closer and can almost make it a day trip. Tiger fans will have to do an overnighter somewhere, for the most part.

Don’t share that opinion, but I can see where you are coming from.

NYE should bring an interesting crowd out in NOLA, which will add some weirdness than what a typical college football bowl crowd would have brought.

I was just comparing to a crowd you would see at a Tampa or a Phoenix.

Stranger random crowd in Nola on New Years. That being said, I love the place and can’t wait to be down there.

Everyone is waiting for prices to drop like they always do. People used to make dumb decisions and buy them quick because they thought it would be a sell out, but everyone has gotten smart now and waits it out for the best price

ATL Tickets will be through the roof. Good time to go to Sugar.
Its supply & demand. More people reselling and waiting for National Championship = prices dropping.
The Championship will be the opposite, people will wait, tickets disappear, get more and more expensive just like they did in Tampa, but it will be way worse with the proximity to Clemson and UGA. It will be off the charts in ATL.

Depends on who it is. If it's us and UGA, tickets will be crazy expensive. If it's us and OU, they will drop

its obvious most of these tickets for sale on tigernet, were bought for resale. some of these tickets were posted right after the game was announce, it will be hilarious to see some of the high pricers get stuck and lose every penny, i wish iptay had better way to monitor the ones buying and reselling, to many people get left off the buying list for national championship game because of these people. i got my sugar bowl tickets for face value from iptay and will be there supporting the tigers..

It is simple economics. We all have a limited Clemson Football budget. And most have us borrowed from our future Clemson Football budget to go to the Semi and National championship games the last two years. On top of that IPTAY raised the cost of season tickets. There just is not enough money left in the budget for the Sugar Bowl.

I was able to get two tickets through IPTAY (642). After watching prices fall in the lower sections, I upgraded to two in 142, recently. (I have sat in the 600 level for a Super Bowl once, and wanted to be closer to the action.) So my 642's are for sale.

delivery is up. If you don't sell in next 24 hours you either have to go to New Orleans or be stuck with your tickets. Therefore prices drop
