Louisville media is reporting that

The ACC is split between taking UCONN and U of L. TV news said last night that Louisville needed one more school to vote for them rather than UCONN to get the needed majority.

Louisville would play us close in Football and would wipe the floor with us in Basketball.
They also currently have a better soccer team and are decent at Baseball.
You should learn something before talking out of your ###.

But when it's all said and done, isn't what really matters football? Maybe Baseball...

Basketball matters a ton more than Baseball.
Their Football Stadium is still fairly new and seats nearly 60,000.
That places them capacity wise in the neighborhood with NC State UNC and UVA.

Clemson's is $61 million. U of L is a big time player in college sports and is committed to Football.

Actually, John got turned down by U of L

buying the naming rights to the stadium was kind of an "in your face" move on his part. His brother did go to U of L though.

They recently enlarged the stadium - they have great facilities. They have a larger budget than most ACC schools, and have made some good coaching hires. Louisville is on the way up as a program.

Louisville in a heart beat. Football pays the bills and Louisville seems committed to being a good football school.

If those dips--- NC schools won't take Louisville over UConn it is absolutely time to tell them where to go. U of L is the best available. UConn is hoops only. The line needs to be drawn.

Apparently they need a 2/3 majority

which would mean that currently 7 want Louisville and 5 want UCONN (does Maryland still get a vote?). It would not be hard to pick out the fab 5.

I simply can't imagine that a team that has announced it is leaving the conference would be permitted to vote, but in Swofford's ACC I guess it's possible.
