Baseball players are the most superstitious people on the planet. I remember those days. Only certain meals on GameDay. Certain songs on the playlist. Lucky jock strap. On and on. The only time things would change up was during a slump. Micro changes to dispel the bad ju ju. I remember a hot girl bringing me a Gatorade and I batted 1.000 for the weekend. I kept that Gatorade wrapper for weeks in my left batting glove. I batted over 0.750 using that motivational piece.
