The very worst thing that anybody can do, is continuing to cry about anything that can't be changed. That is an absolute wasted emotion! Get up, brush yourself off, and get ready for the next time you may have the chance to try it again, Period!!!!

Dabo Swinney,s Answer to the question about Clemson,s Loss was the best response and most accurate .No Coach in the NFL or College Could have accomplished more than what DABO has for CLEMSON (INCLUDING SABAN ) the PAST 10 YEARS.GREAT CHRISTAN MAN and LEADER ! Go TIGERS !

Best way to handle it. Be honest about it, accept the loss and move forward. Love our Coach.

He’s honest. I just hope the rest of the team is. O-line has to play better all season. Hopefully there will be a normal off season and they can all grow and mesh together. I also hope they figure out a way to get the defensive play calls in if the other team is run a hurry or offense. Fix those two things and I see another trip to the playsoffs and hopefully a chance at the National Championship. Didn’t feel right sitting there having to “root” for the lesser of two evils (Alabama).

Dan Brooks and Marion Hobby have been gone 5 years now. They left probably the greatest D-line in school history and one of the greatest in the history of college football behind. Youth has been against us the last two seasons but it's time to develop this current group this offseason. Hopefully Covid won't prevent that as it did last year. I'm not talking about the Dexter Lawrence, C.Wilkins, Ferrell, etc. The previous position coaches were excellent at developing the Rennie Moores, Deshawn Williams, Richard Yeagrin as well.

I agree that our main problems has been bc of coaching changes, and every coach has his way of doing things, and the players will have to adapt to those changes for the team to get better, and move forward. That is why Dabo tries to make sure his assistant coaches are compensated with being some of the highest paid at their coaching position....

Last year our best 3 of most talented 4 receivers played very little if at all! Does anyone think that Ngata and Ross would not have made a huge difference in the OhioSt game? We also missed some key players on the either because of injury or penalty.
We will be better and deeper next year.

Great coaches understand that complaining and second guessing and making excuses and giving explanations to the media is totally useless.
Publically, the attitude is, "We lost. Time to move on." It is the FIDO principle - Forget it and drive on.
There will be plenty of analysis within the coaching staff. But, it won't leave that room.

Well yes...if you put 28 points on the board and your defense plays up to its full potential.

Great assessment by Dabo. Ohio State had as much talent as we did and played with so much passion that we had to play a great game to win and we did not. They deserved to win and we go back to work and try again this year.

Maybe next time dabo should keep his mouth shut about other team not deserving to be in playoff. They made it their mission to beat us this game. Maybe our players believe the hype too that we was going to blow them out.

You think Dabo? Hopefully next year you’ll put a zipper over your mouth before the game and not help fire up the other team. Unfortunately, by constantly ranking OSU #11, the team followed your lead - unprepared, under coached and the D looked completely lost.
It was a humble road in getting where we are. Go back to that time and stop talking smack, getting smacked. Hopefully a lesson learned.
Go Tigers!!!

Agree it was a mistake to give Ocryo State free locker room material. Don't agree that was the difference in the game. The difference was they outplayed us. Period. I love that Dabo does not make excuses for losses unlike Ryan Day and Nick Saban. Remember when Saban made the excuse that Clemson was merely copying what others did against Alabama? Remember when he made the complaints about officiating on the rub plays we ran in 2017?

I think ryan day was very motivated base on dabo comments. I wouldnt be surprise if he was planning all season for this matchup. He is their oc and looks like they threw lots of passes to their te in the game which we couldnt stop. I think i read on their forum they didnt use their te much during season.lastly maybe their players were more prepare. All who defense looks lost even when skaliski was in first half
