Does anybody really believe anybody other than Stoudt.....

Does anybody really believe anybody other than Stoudt will start this weekend and then against USUC if Watson isn't ready by then?
It's quite obvious to me with Morris' comments about getting Stoudt back to "the level" he was at before the Georgia game that Schuessler isn't really even being considered. I hope I'm wrong.

Schuessler should be given the start this weekend just to see how he looks moving this offense downfield.

the message of if you play like sh!t and virtually lose the game single handedly another player gets a shot? I think the team can handle it and I also don't see many in the locker wanting Stoudt out there to be honest with you.

The teams confidence was completely shattered when Stoudt...

came in after Watson was hurt. The players aren't idiots, they know Stoudt isn't good. They respect him as a fellow teammate, but they know he isn't doing anything to help win games. The most telling thing about the players faith in Stoudt, was when Watson came in the first half against UGA, and after Watson threw a TD pass the sideline was electric. When they put Stoudt back in the demeanor of the team completely changed.

Im afraid we are all suffering from Tajhitus.A couple years of watching a large running back with a very good arm run over people will do that for you.I know the coaches would like to have a plug and play team so they can pop a new player in when the last player vacates a position and all works as before .In the real world that doesnt work.Stoudt plays much better in a 2 minute situation.Quick plays short passes at a very fast pace. His gut instincts are great but given time to think or wait for a play to develop and he melts down.Long cross field throw backs with players compressed in the red zone etc.Stoudt and Watson are good scramblers,Watson is quicker in the open field, but they are not the heavy duty running back that Tajh Boyd was.Calling a Quarter back run for Watson who is obviously the best Quarterback in the Nation is IDIOTIC.Scramble yes, called Quarterback run hell no.You dont take your Farrari Four Wheeling.

I think you're wrong. Clearly, the team isn't behind Stoudt at this point. There are locker room politics playing in this as well.

I'm reading that from morris as well. I don't think there is any chance he will start NS for some crazy reason. I just don't see how it can be any worse than what it is now. Start nick and if he struggles against Georgia st, then go back to stoudt.

From reading both coaches comments it seems Morris is pushing Stoudt much more in theses interviews than Dabo has.

Stoudt, obviously.Have been rerunning last few games.Stoudt is extremely efficient at high speed(2 minute drill)Quick short passes, first instinced. He has trouble when they slow down and he has time to think. The long drawn out plays are also the ones that cause lineman injuries.Stoudt first instinct unbeatable.

It's super obvious that stoudt is going to start. They never had any intentions of using anyone else. Not at the beginning of the season, not after he had three more interceptions than TD's with a fumble to boot, and certainly not now that Watson is out again.
The only reason Watson started over Cole is because he is amazing. Cole will finish the season for us unless Watson gets fixed. We need to just move on and be thankful that he graduates and let him go down as the worst qb to ever start for Clemson football.

No.
Staredown Stoudt will start on Saturday, and probably against the chickens also. I don't think Dabo will deprive him the opportunity to start on Senior Day, and I suspect Watson will not be ready to go for the final game of the regular season.

"Stare down Stoudt" beats "3 and out Stoudt."
I've been trying to think of a better nickname...
