We gave them that game. It’s not like we tried our hardest and they beat us. Not with us going away from the run and with CK2 not getting a single snap. It’s a mystery why the coaches didn’t want to win (although DJ’s mental well being or something probably played a role), but we saw what we saw.

Respect is earned, so Dabo has his work cut out, as usual.

We add 237 rushing yards and 6.4 YPC with only 99 passing yards.

would have turned out if we ran more. The only thing we know for sure is that you will be critical, which is easy, when you are sitting in the stands. That’s the point of that great speech by that great man. To answer your final question, no, you don’t have to be a coach to have an opinion, but know that every coach knows what it’s like to be in your shoes, but you don’t know what it’s like to be in theirs.

Listened to retired NFL head coach and former ASU head coach Herm Edwards talk a couple of weeks ago at an event he put on in Pearl Harbor.
He had some very insightful stories about the difference of experience between being a fan and a spectator, and being on a major sideline in the thick of it. As a fan you get to pick out the one or two mistakes you thought the coach should have known better than to do. As a coach you have to make hundreds of complex decisions per game. At this level it is hard to win, even to the coots. Everybody has talented players that are good enough to get a free college education.
Nonetheless, we all know that we should not have lost to the coots. As Francis Marion® aptly put it, it is not our place to question the 'Coach in the Arena'

QB talent/performance dropping of a cliff with DJ Uke, losing to the mayo-sucking coots AT HOME (the biggest disgrace of all), and getting slaughtered in the bowl game by a TN team that should have been a shambles pushover considering all their injuries, so yeah… we really blew it last season. I think we’ll know how much fire Dabo has left in the belly after this season. Maybe $80M in the bank is enough to make a softie out of just about anybody… even him. We fixin’ to fine out.
