Pitt has the same issue that we had last year. Their non-conference strength of schedule is awful. No team with a SOS the 300s has made it in.

Looks like we swapped spots with Nebraska- a team that was a projected 10 seed not long ago but they've won a couple tournament games.

Plenty of teams improving their seeding by simply beating the teams they're supposed to in their own tournaments.

Lose early and a team can do nothing but slide down.

An 8/9 seed is dreadful in IMO because, even if youre good enough to make a little run, you are 99.9% guaranteed a 2nd round matchup with a brick wall of #1 seed. Would rather get a 10 or 11 seed.
