Of the 12 on the selection committee, how many are from SEC

Schools? I know they are suppose to be unbiased, but there are going to be a lot of one loss schools.

If you listen to ESPN, three of the four schools in the playoff will be from the SEC. I hope not.

Jeff Long, the Chair, is from Arkansas.

Archie Manning, from Ole Miss, took himself off the committee due to health problems.

Not sure if there are any other SEC people.

They have to recuse themselves when a team from their conference is being discussed
