My wife and I will be there. Just saw the weather report. Looks like the rain may be moving out around 6pm. We might be in luck

Yes, accuweather says passing showers possible that night. It certainly does not sound like a deluge.

Clemson has the #11 rushing offense and the #2 rushing defense. Pittsburg has the #16 rushing offense and the #79 rushing defense.

Kinda. It does not favor Pitt but it does mitigate our biggest advantage: passing game. Pitt is a decent run team and meh in run defense but they are barely better than GT in the passing game.
Pitt might be the worse passing team in the country if you negate the triple option teams and those that have 10+ loses (Rutgers, Central Mich0
Sounds strange, but a shootout would favor us a lot more than a grinder. Sure, we give up points to a hot QB but at the same time we have a always-hot QB... just add oxygen and he lights it up. I think we will bottle them up but we really need a few big runs early because I don't want it close down the line. Still, I expect a BC-like defensive performance.. but then again BC looks like a B12 team compared to the Pitt passing game.
Passing Offense Clemson #24 Pitt #119 <--- really, they are THAT bad.
Passing YA Clemson #34 (Note - when you are down 14+ in the first half, you tend to sling it more) Pitt #61
Sacks Clemson #3 Pitt #50
With passing being a bigger % of plays on 3rd, you can see how good we are vs has bad they are
3rd Down % Clemson #27 Pitt #63
3rd Down D Clemson #7 Pitt #98

CU has a great record in rain games. Notre Dame and Georgia Tech come to mind. If we were only a passing team it might hurt but we have a great run threat. Tigers will take care of business.

Wonder if that 0.03" is going to fall while Clemson has the ball or Pitt? Depending on timing, it could be a factor.

Or it could just be a prediction for the tears shed by pitt fans after realizing the money and time they wasted coming to watch their butts get beat...
