Its GAMEDAY BABEEEEEEEE!!!!!

I’ve been having an absolute blast in LA.
Came on a whim, then stayed!!!!

As I was sitting watching UNC/BAMA my good buddy from Grass Valley CA (about 400 miles away) texted me a congrats, asked if I were gonna stay in town. Told him I was leaning that way but not sure... He said, Jeff, I’m flying in tomorrow, meeting some friends and going to see Andy Frasco and the UN (a band I LOVE) at The Fonda Theater in Hollywood. So I stayed. Unfortunately he said he couldn’t justify the $245 flight change just to stick around and join for the game today, but at least I had a great plan for off day Friday and a good heart filling nudge to stay.

Yest I just chilled out.. beeezy cool day for LA. Was about to buy my ticket for today’s game, and Jason reached out that through a cool series of events, his flight change was free, asked if he could join me… HECK YEH!!! I had LITERALLY just opened my computer to find a ticket when he texted me. Bought 2 tix in PR18 right by Clemson band.

Took my $80 Uber 20 miles to Studio City and met him/crew at Laurel Tavern for a few hour hang before the show. Super great people, none of whom I knew, all that when introduced were like “Oh, you’re the Clemson guy,” very pleasantly.

This is LA, it’s the anti south when it comes to college sports. But they were all really excited. I wore my same get up from the game. I love reppin Clemson, but it’s usually a hat OR a shirt, not both with matching orange shoes.. that’s for game days… EXCEPT when I’m in LA and there to cheer the Tigers on to the FINAL FOUR!!

Went to the show, super positive bouncy happy fun rock and roll show! Hangin with a crew of 10 It’s not for everyone, but man, that’s a good band and the messages just work. It’s no PG show though.. SOOOOO fun having a crew of people surrounding me, high fiving, dancing, laughing, sloshing $25 draft beer, and singing. It was epic. The kind of weekend so far that’s just amazing what can happen when you show up, be a good human, and trust the moment..

Today, I’m ready. Have a t shirt and a hat for my buddy (I never pack 2 Clemson hats, of course I did this time!). Rainy gray LA day today. And I Am So Pumped!!

What I didn’t “say” on Thurs to Arizona, that energy inside, the love surrounding me last night, is all gonna come exploding out in a ROOOOOOAAAAAR at the arena today!!!! Tiger fans, get ready!!!!!!! It’s GAMEDAY BABEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
