If you’re the parent in their car while their kids are walking on halloween

You do not deserve to “take them trick or treating”.
Matter of fact you just need to give your kids up for adoption, puss ies.

THIS!!!!
I thought about this after I posted it, but if someone has a medical issue I totally understand it.
The amount of cars I see driving around though proves they are not just medical issues. There were literally five cars one after the other picking their kids up to drive 50 feet to the next house, thus letting them out again for the next house.
I’m sorry, I don’t care who you are, that is LAME. Not to mention all these people walking and you know, doing real Halloween ####, have to now watch for even more cars on the road.
It also signifies that these parents being their kids to where all the candy is at. I don’t blame them but ####.

I’m 4+ decades revolutions around the Sun & my mom wouldn’t even go trick or treating with me. So I say to those kids: be glad your parents take you trick or treating because one day they’ll say you’re too old & wont drive you around the rich neighborhoods of your city/town.

You’re telling me your mother wouldn’t go with you when you were a kid? No hate, I just grew up a different way. For those wondering, I stopped when I was 12 until I had my own children. I’ve loved doing it now as a parent.
And when I went to Halloween parties where women found the most appropriate outfits to wear.
My daughter even made my costume this year, colored a shirt black and yellow (like the Steelers throwbacks) and said I was a bumblebee. It also made her night, though it was a tough pill to swallow walking around with wings lol.

I’m talking about tonight mate! She told me I was too old & wouldn’t take me! Granted, I didn’t see any other 40+ year olds trick or treating, but that’s beside the point. I wanted her to drive me around so I could get drunk & trick people. Alas, I had to drive myself, Park he car, get out, walk to the door, playbtrick, walk back to car, drive to next house, repeat.
This is going to scar me well into my late 40’s.

We live in one of those subdivision that kids love to go to
Nov 1, 2018, 6:16 AM
|

2 entrances - cops at both and no one in unless you can name the house you are going to so the car traffic is almost nothing.
Next to our subdivision is a huge BILO lot and an even bigger church lot where everyone parks. Some houses give out over 1,000 pieces of candy.
We live at the "end " of the main road based on foot traffic and on a cul-de-sac, so kids get too tired to come down our street. We had over 200 last night.
Our neighborhood embraces this and it is discussed on radio, Nextdoor, etc. this is one to go to.
I just sit on the porch and greet the kids and let them pick out what they want. I was very pleased last night - all kids were of the right age group, friendly and thankful.
It was a fun Halloween!

I don't know when it became a thing to bus in kids from other neighborhoods to wealthier neighborhoods to go get candy, but it sucks. Literally, about 90% of the kids at our house are not from our neighborhood. An, yes, the parents sit in their car or truck and wait for the snots to get their candy and run back to the vehicle to get transported 40 ft to the next house.
OP is right, raising a bunch of ####### in the US of A

Greenr's kids got driven to a better neighborhood last night

but that is because we don't have neighbors and no trick or treating where I live.
We also parked at a friend's house, walked 2ish miles, and got plenty of good candy.
Saw lots of drunks (York) and smelled lots of pot (York, also). They need to just legalize it.

our subdivision. I came home at 10 til 6 last night. There was a line 1/4 mile long to enter the subdivision from the busiest road. The road is one mile to my house. It took me 30 minutes to get to the house. Dodging kids, idiots on golf carts, idiots in cars. My street is in the back corner and none of my immediate neighbors hand out candy because there are about 10 kids on our street that T or T.
/Man yells at cloud moment
Neighbors got fed up years ago, one has a list of the HOA members, and if you aren't a PAID UP HOA member your kids doesn't get candy. Ol' Mauldawg is just too busy pounding Whiteclaws to answer the door (amirite soccerkrzy® ?)

the trailer park or housing project where you live, or down the road where the rich folks live? My parents eventually had to barricade the roads in their neighborhood on Halloween due to the outsiders driving through. The issue wasn't the kids, but the PARENTS driving around door to door. Barricades worked wonders. Cars parked for a mile up and down the main road on the sidewalks, and the kids and parents then walked. Still a lot of outsiders, but no traffic jams.

Little 1.5 lane roads. 200 cars blocking the roads while kids are darting in and out. Really dangerous and douchey
