The Bottom Line

is that they are better than us. They are better in football and they are better in baseball. And really, that's all that matters. Until we get better players who look at playing South Carolina without the mindset that this is just another game, then it will continue on this path. Their guys love beating Clemson more than anything, our guys see South Carolina as just another game on the schedule.

In baseball I agree but I do believe in football that is not the case. Should we not win in DV this year, I'll agree.

I agree with you. I don't think they have better football players and we will win in Death Valley. Baseball is a different story.

When you go an entire graduating class without winning a game, there is a problem. The past two graduating classes have no idea what it's like to beat South Carolina. They are a tougher bunch than our Tigers right now. Clemson's players think they can beat South Carolina. South Carolina's players know they can beat Clemson.

You have a point and that is exactly why we need recruits like the Hatch kid who is an animal! We need athletes who are committed to winning. Who don 't want to feel the bitter pain of losses. Who want the glory for the team and the recognition that goes with it. Clemson has become too soft, too "nice", not mean enough. I didn't say dirty playing or an illegal program I mean a nasty attitude on the field within the rules of a given sport,

What games were you watching? More walks, errors, etc. than runs scored? Terrible coaching and awful fielding outside of the errors.

Better teams do lose game. And you believe the coot FB team was better than ours this past season, you are clueless.

Why do you think that? Because we beat Ohio State? We won every game we were supposed to, and the two games that everyone pointed to as being the big tests, we blew miserably. SC has won five in a row against us, how are they not a better football team?

> And you believe the coot > FB team was better than ours this past season, you > are clueless. uh, what? Come on man, think about what you're saying. They finished #4 for a reason, they had a great season. No point in any of us discounting what they did when we also had a great season. Why would you want to tear a team down that beat us? Makes us look worse in the end.

Hold the players accountable ? 2 more errors and untimely hitting. Jake Long pitched a h3ll of a game to only Clate's nutting up. This series is on the athletes not the coach. You all wouldn't give two turds in a hand basket if it they were playing anyone other than the worthless Gamevocks.

Agreed.
The Clemson football program has been steadily improving, and may be a year away from becoming an elite football program again. (IMO)
The baseball program is stuck and the basketball program has improved their fundamentals, but may not be able to go any further under Brownell in an expanded ACC conference schedule. (IMO)
I'm not concerned about South Carolina...
I'm focused on improving Clemson.

I would like to beat them too, but Clemson still has the overall athletic advantage, and it shows in the way they react whenever they beat Clemson in anything.

I'm also not sure how legit their recent athletic success has been. (considering all the NCAA violations and knowing the way things are done in Columbia)

Steelcity - with those comments about SCAR's football team your pulse is about to take a giant nose dive.
