It is all about TV markets which needs to remembered when anyone thinks about being attractive to another conference in realignment. Money moves the needle.

No… It’s not about TV markets… not for this BB game in particular.
As far as TV, as has been repeated ad-nauseum, TV markets was 10 years ago. It’s about the brand, and how many people watch the brand. Clemson FB is sitting pretty in that regard. Listen to Dabo… He has told you where it is going. CLEM has the luxury to pick and choose. Don't ever think we aren't attractive to other conferences. Outside of ND, we are it..with UNC right there and FSU close-by as well

I'm not giving $10 to ESPN to watch so I will be listening to Munson & watching the live stats....I would love to go but 512 miles is a long way to drive when I have to wrk the next day

Are 32 automatic NCAA bids, many for conferences that wouldn’t have otherwise made the top 68. So, no it’s not 69th place because there are 20+ teams that wouldn’t have even made the NIT if they had not gotten their 1 bid conference’s automatic bid.

Why let them in? I you can't make a realistic run for the title then maybe the chance to compete in the N.I.T. is better suited for the smaller schools.

I’ve always thought the automatic bid was the dumbest thing in the NCAA tournament. If they really wanted to improve the tournament they would just get the best 64 teams period. Let these smaller conferences have play in games.
