It would save time taking the recruits out on the town after the games.

the only thing worse was a Thursday night in College Park when Maryland beat Clemson to win the ACC championship, and the Maryland fans, largely their student section, were throwing batteries.

This not hyperbole. I was at Sanford Stadium in 1978. They won 12-0, and were still raining liquor bottles down at us as we attempted to get out of there.

Coots started this within the last few years, but they have never had crowd behavior issues. Or have they?

Wake serves beer, liquor, and wine at their games...

Of course, there are generally only about 40 or 50 people at their games (if that) so how much alcohol fueled harm can they really cause?

That fact alone should improve folks who attends attitude. Think about how much nicer GA fans will be to visitors to their stadium. Go Tigers.

It's always funny to me some of out folks instantly think people will be passing out drunk and fighting because a football stadium sells beer. Just like arena's they cut it off at a certain point. I've seen intoxicated people in Death Valley especially for night games and they don't even sell it. The minibottles lined up in the restrooms always cracked me up and with our pass out policy it's not hard to go out and get a little sloshed and then return.

And so should Clemson! Wrapped in religion, Clemson is making a horrible mistep in not selling beer until the 5 minute mark in tbe 3rd qt. Talk about a NIL pool to spend! Use those funds for advertisement opportunities for players 21 and older. Use the younger players to promote no underage drinking and anti DUI commercials. Have the Beer pay for all of these NIL deals!

Darwin Award candidate.
That beer never made it out of that building, for sure, unless it was just outside the door.
