From a USC Fan

Tough loss, you guys have Watson coming back and your schedule looks very winnable next year. @ FSU looks to be maybe your toughest game. I want to say you don't play ND next year and USC is a year or two from even challenging you guys (I am being optimistic there...not sure about Muschamp personally).
With Watson back and that team older/better, I can see Clemson in the Playoffs again next year. Watson will continue to work hard and will actually have a healthy off-season this year. Remember he was rehabbing his knee at this time last year.
Clemson to me looks like the team to beat this upcoming year.
Good luck and enjoy the off-season.
P.S. Good Idea locking up Dabo to a longer contract. He has you guys playing balls to the wall.

Don't understand the vitriol.
I am not here trolling. I am from South Carolina...a USC fan because my Dad went there. But have 2 Uncles who went to Clemson. Me? I didn't go to college out of High School, joined the Army instead.
I pull for you guys except when you play USC.
Really, its rough losing like that, but look at where Clemson is to where USC is.
I am a realist, USC is going to be horrible for a while (thinking Sparky Woods-era bad).

You're from SC and you went all the way across the country to USC? I think y'all will do well in the PAC 12 with your new coach, what's his name...Helton?
Haha just messing with you. Thanks for the compliments man.

One last thing....

Not many Coaches have the testicular fortitude to suspend players before a game/playoff like this.
Dabo did the right thing.
My most shameful Gamecock moment...watching other Gamecock fans make excuses for Stephen Garcia the 5th time he would get accepted back on the team after "breaking team rules". BTW I guess it is against team rules to key a teacher's car or make sexist comments at a function...while drunk...
Anyway, gonna take off and get some homework done (35 years old and going for my Master's Degree, using that G.I. Bill money! I feel a little old to be doing homework lol)

No, I just think Clemson is head and shoulders above everyone on their schedule next year other than FSU.
FSU will be good and its at FSU.
I do think Clemson will take them.
Also, I really don't think Auburn will be very good. I also don't think my Gamecocks will be good at all. Our best player is out Kicker (I am think Skai Moore and Pharoah Copper go pro...why would they come back?)
It wasn't a backhanded compliment. You guys played an absolutely brutal schedule this year. OOC Notre Dame (I know they have a weird contract with ACC).
One other thing, Clemson got better as the year went on. I think this had to do with Watson getting healthier. Remember, this time last year he was on crutches recovering from his knee surgery. I really think with him being healthy the whole year next year, he will be a Heisman finalist again (worried that he will split the Southern votes for Fournette though and McCaffrey will benefit from this perhaps).

Thanks for the class man ... I'm ok with the schedule comment because its a lot less venomous than what I've been hearing from other South Carolina fans.

I don't see what that has to do with USC, but thanks for the encouraging words.
BTW, you can take your PAC12 officials and, well, the things I want you to do with them are too unspeakable to put into words.

Those PAC12 refs are terrible.
I lived in Tacoma, WA from 2000-2015 (Army put me at Fort Lewis and I stayed in the area until last year).
I ended up watching a lot of PAC10/12 games and yes, those refs have always been terrible.

Thanks for the kind words. Ignore those that are butt-hurt over here. Some obviously haven't matured enough in life to know how to handle a loss.
I agree with most everything you said. This is a fantastic time to be a Clemson Tiger.
Goooooo TIGERS

That is a really funny story there...
I was a Clemson fan as a kid (2 very loving and boisterous Uncles are Tigers and my Grandparents as well)
In fact on the Columbia Show "Mr Nozit" I told him I was a Clemson Tiger....
At about age 7 or so, I asked my Dad why he was a South Carolina fan, he told me because he went to South Carolina. Since my Dad was my Idol, I had to switch sides back then.
To this day I pull for you guys 364 days of the year.
I am also a realist, I don't think USC will be good for a long time...The Citadel beat us last year...
Anyway, I can't be a Fairweather Johnson. Those are the worst.
Either way, Good Luck next year!
