A champion at the other Death Valley too. Dabo would have no problem getting talent in the bayou.

The only thing that would drive him away from Clemson is a fanbase that dissolves into idiocy. And, we are certainly showing some of those signs.....

LSU generally has strong recruiting.. but, it's all about the numbers.. I've no idea what the buyout's are in either case, but I expect they aren't insurmountable.
I do think Dabo loves Clemson, but I also expect he sees the SEC as the pinnacle of CFB. Maybe he'd want one more big challenge.
It could be a win win for LSU and CU. Dabo isn't irreplaceable. A fresh pair of eyes might even be needed.

SEC has won 0 National Championships. The likes of Vandy, Ol Miss, Mississippi State, Uof6C, Arkansas, Kentucky, and all the other perennial bottom dwellers in football are lucky to get as much money as they do from the top programs success. I lose all respect for someone who claims to be an SEC fan. There no such thing. Just say your team sucks and continue to root for them through thick and thin.

Well, actually the buyout is unlikely. It was a 10 year contract for 93 million dollars when all the retention incentives are included as of 2019. "The Clemson Board of Trustees Compensation Committee approved a 10-year, $93-million contract for Swinney on Friday morning. Swinney holds the largest contract in college football history, eclipsing the eight-year, $74-million deal Alabama awarded Nick Saban last year and the 10-year, $75-million fully guaranteed deal Texas A&M gave Jimbo Fisher in December 2017." So, win, lose, or draw it makes no difference. He can do as he pleases and will be at Clemson through 2028. Conversely, if he chose to leave for another position he would owe some money but only a small fraction of what he is being paid with a penalty for going to Alabama. "In the new contract, Swinney would owe Clemson $4 million if he took another college head coaching job within the first two years of the contract, except for his alma mater Alabama. If Swinney leaves Clemson to replace Saban, his buyout to Clemson jumps to $6 million.
Those amounts decrease to $3 million and $4.5 million for Alabama in 2021 and 2022, $2 million and $4 million from 2023 to 2025 and $1 million and $1.5 million in 2026 and 2027. Saban's current contact expires in 2026." He can quit anytime and pursue an NFL gig and pay nothing. My contract in industry fell a bit short of ten years - actually it was a day to day contract for 35 years.

Yeah, Dabo will go to LSU as soon as the contract for Nick Saban to come to Clemson is approved and Alabama finalizes the contract being offered to Coach O.
Now go back to the the Coot Board.

But Tony Elliott is ripe for the picking. Dear feax tigers, Tony Elliott is the greatest coach earning a Clemson paycheck this year. They’d be getting a deal for him at $3million.

Man, you don't know how this works. LSU will go after Will Muscoot after his rehab stint at UGA. Count on it.

Although I being a devoted clemson tiger fan, knowing where the real Death Valley is located. I would love for him to come to Louisana and class the place up some. With that being said, I have not run into many down here that like him. I guess because you can understand what he is saying!

If you asked me which team would Dabo not coach, LSU and Cryami would be my picks. Sometimes I think posters just try to create the most insane take. If that's the case, congrats, you win.

I will never understand why people think Dabo is some highly on demand coach at the pro and college level. His name has never been brought up at these teams.
