I expect some backlash and vitriol for this

With the current state of affairs in college fb building super conferences and the concern of where that’s going to leave Clemson, I found myself actually pulling for UNC and FSU… like happy for their success. The ACC needs in the field inter conference success, Clemson needs these teams to show up more than ever.. Add in that they both held steadfast with no votes alongside Clemson and I find myself feeling some weird alliance with those two schools in week 1 this season.
Anyone else?

Do you think we will have a reliable 50/50 receiver tonight?***

To me, it feels like Randle and Williams have to make those plays and Beau just needs to find the open spaces. We also need good slot play and I am hoping the TEs make some big plays as well.

I'd also like to see Ship get out in space as well...

I always want ACC to win out-of-confrence games. Always. I love the ACC and am heartbroken the way that realignment is reshaping NCAAF and Clemson's possible exit from the ACC. I can't imagine being apart of the BIG10 SEC. But yea, I'll pull for ACC teams. ( even though FSU fans are rude as hell )

I still don't think the ACC amounts to a hill of beans. Only thing that matters is Clemson football, which means the ACC must be put in the rear-view mirror asap.

Especially if that SEC are the Coots.

Nope me too. I grew up watching ACC Saturday football on TV in the 1970’s. I think it was Jefferson Pilot Sports and this jingle was constantly played. I hate to see it all come to this. I keep hoping against hope the ACC will have an awesome run and great football resurgence, and perhaps get a competitive contract, but I’m afraid it’s too little too late. All we’ll have are the memories.

FSU and holes are on the never under any circumstances list. Pulling for the chickens goes unsaid, so i had trouble with rooting for the holes, but im not unhappy that car flags are tucked away this week.

And logical mindset. Too many people continue to choose “checkers” over “chess” with this whole Conference realignment scenario.
We are now in a “musical chairs” type game where we need to be positioned the very best that we can “WHEN” the music stops…not “IF” it stops.
Intellectual honesty is a good quality so, please keep it, Sir!
