Clemson's Greatest accomplishment this year in Foosball

NOT losing to someone they shouldn't. This is a HUGE step in building this program. I haven't heard many speak of it because they're caught up in losing to SC.
The best scenario in this Chicky Sammich bowl is for Clemson to pull one of those..."Where they heck has THAT been?" moments and beat the snot bubbles out of LSU. All will be positive headed into rest of recruiting season, next year etc. There are a lot of negative posters out there about the program because of the SC loss. Believe it or not, this has been a very successful building year...building toward consistency. I HATE losing to the coots but I sure am taking the ops to enjoy a 10 win season and NOT losing to someone we shouldn't. Think about it. Go Clemson Tigers!

Thats true but you also have to take in the fact we hired

a new coaching staff. Another fact you have to look at is Dabo wasn't a head coach and like with anything you have to learn the ropes before you perfect it. I think the program has made great strides and great hires. Recruiting looks to be good again this coming year especially on the defensive side. I hate it as much as anyone else does losing to the coots and made a few bad post after it happened but I still have to admit the program is headed in the right direction. Surlid has had a jump on us in recruiting, coaching years, and money.

we had outrecruited them 7 of the past 9 years. We should not have lost to them, especially at home and especially with all their injuries. If ever there was a "perfect storm" to beat them, this year was it.

I just have to mention that Clemson's entire secondary, wasn't our strength at their best, was injured for the SC game. Other than Lattimore, SC was in pretty good shape as far as injuries go. As other posts have pointed out, Spurlid made the decision to go with Thompson, not because Shaw was hurt, but because he wanted the best QB on the field against our depleted secondary.

USC flat out won b/c of defense. Theirs is better than ours at this point and has been for some time. We're going to face something similar vs. LSU so we need to take some chances on offense and try to stay on the field. We did none of that vs. Carolina - Hopefully Dabo and company realize that....Looking forward to a good game.
