Clemson fans showing spirit @ Disney

Just returned home from Disney World, and while I know there is a tremendous amount of passion for our Tigers, I was amazed to see that Clemson was the most represented college when it came to people wearing their college attire. My wife and I - both Clemson grads - gave shout-outs of "Go Tigers" countless times and struck up conversations with other Clemson alumni. There is not a better place to people watch than Disney - especially while waiting in those long lines - and it really made me proud to see so many Clemson fans there sporting their Tiger shirts and/or hats. I did a lot of people watching, and no other college came close to our Tigers when it came to their fans wearing their spirit wear. Of course you would see the Gators and Seminoles represented, and I would say Bama was up there as well, but Clemson was at a different level. Perhaps I just noticed it more or the orange just caught my eye, but I don't think that's the case. Clemson fans are proud of their school, and it's not only the alumni. Entire families were decked out in their Clemson attire - even wearing Clemson shirts over a Mickey or Goofy shirt - young kids wearing Clemson shirts and conversing with us after Clemson crushed Syracuse.

As a 20 year grad of Clemson, I've always been proud of the Tigers and would show my spirit regardless of our football record or rankings, and I get that feeling as well with many Clemson fans who just love Clemson because it's Clemson. It means something when it's on your resume or you have that framed diploma hanging on the wall or you proudly hang the Clemson flag above your garage. Even though I came home from Disney with an empty bank account, my trip was full of excitement every time I saw a fellow Tiger showing their spirit by wearing Clemson orange!

I of course, had a clemson shirt on. they were rowdy but very friendly and very respectful of the tigers. got invited to Pitt by several of them
