Interesting your dad's ring says "Clemson University"

I have a class of 64 ring and it says "Clemson A&M College." Did he get his ring replaced? The name change to Clemson University didn't happen until the summer of 1964.

and we ordered our rings in the spring of 1963 before the name was changed to Clemson College, but you may be right.

1989? Other than date, those look identical. (I / Parents never sprung for one, so I have none to reference from 1976.)
