until they can get their shit_together I'm losing interest.
You have control of the House, but some don't give AS. Fire McCarthy, Fire Johnson, resign, let Hakeem have the gavel. MTG and now another rep from FL want him ousted. #facepalm.
What in the SamHell are you thinking?
Am I a not necessarily Trump fan, Leaned more toward Haley, but there are only 2 (2 1/2 if you count RFKJr) choices. And Joementia ain't someone I trust.
I will vote conservative, but I'm pizzzzzed at both parties.
Now, don't get me wrong. There is no way on God's Green Earth I would vote for a Dimocrat Libtard.
But something needs to change. Starting with Brandon.

If Haley had been the nominee, there's a good chance I would have voted for her. Not sure, but she seems more normal than Trump obviously.
Under the current choices, I'll once again vote for Biden.
The larger issue that the GOP has - beyond the fact that they mostly kneel down to Trump - is that many of them are not interested in the real work of governing. People like MTG or Gaetz are jokes. Tommy Tuberville is a certified idiot. And just in general, there isn't much interest in the GOP on helping government do the things it needs to do. It's also why you see so much dysfunction in the House. When a party isn't all that interested in doing their basic job, then electing a leader becomes a Circus.
And on top of that, they're scared of their base. Like, physically afraid. That's why many of them wouldn't or won't admit that Biden actually legitimately won in 2020. They can't be seen admitting that in the light of day, because they're worried what will happen to their family.
The Dems have their own issues, and there's a small group on the far-left that's full of hate. But the Dems haven't been captured by that group the same way the GOP has been captured by their extremists.

I will say that a weak, dis-sheveled GOP does no favors for the Democrats, as I think it pushes them further to the Left. In fact, both parties are more extreme than they used to be, and that's not good for the country.
But what we mostly miss is a reasonable center-right governing party. That used to be the GOP, and that ship sailed a while back.

So if you miss a center right government, I’m puzzled about your lack of certainty of voting for Haley over Biden.
I think you’ve changed politically if choosing between a hypothetical matchup of Haley vs Biden is even a remote question.

The problem is the rest of the GOP....

Let's say Trump withdrew from politics tomorrow. What would the GOP do at that point? Would they still be running around stoking 2020 election conspiracy theories and acting crazy every time one of their leaders is forced to ink a bill to keep the government from shutting down? Would half of them still be echoing debunked Vlad Putin talking points?
It's not just Trump. It's the vast majority of the GOP.
So, I've been in Team Democrat since 2016, and not itching to move back.
So for Haley, I need to see if she represents a reasonable Right or a Crazy Right. I never got to know enough about her to discern that difference.
I can guarantee you that if Mitt Romney or Liz Cheney ran for POTUS, I would vote for them. They are not crazy. They would try to govern. Those two showed great backbone in recent years. Hell, I voted for Mitt in 2012, and don't regret it.

Why should there ever be a ‘deal’ (your word) on any border laws?
Or any laws?
Laws are to be enforced.

I think that guys like Trump realized there was more votes in promising big stuff & not with the small government approach.
And the base ate it up.
It could be that the small government GOP threw up their hands, because they didn't have a base that cared for their message.

Why do so many Republicans want so badly for Ukraine to lose?

Is it simply because of Trump's love of Putin and dislike of Ukraine because they wouldn't announce a fake investigation against Biden?
