ACC Basketball

Last year they were saying the same ole S--t about ACC basketball yet we did VERY WELL in the Tournament. It's just a lot of total BS. The league is as good as ever just no dominant teams as in the past. You can win or lose on any given night. Any team that wins 10 plus conference games or 20 total should be in the NCAA tournament. Unfortunately that's not the case anymore as WF showed last year winning 22 games and not getting in. No games in the ACC are "gimmes" and road games are tough against ANYONE in the league.

3 out of 15 teams doing well is not a demonstration of overall conference strength.

The conf leader has 2 quad 4 losses and some bad 3 losses.
If simply dealing with a strong conference with parity - then those OOC losses would not be there. (For not only Clemson, but others).

Respectfully disagree because that is the same line the SEC uses in football, and we laugh at them. "My conference is so tough my team can't win." I don't buy it with SEC football and I don't buy it with ACC basketball. Clemson is just not as good as we would like them to be in basketball.

The problem is there are so many more teams across the country that play good basketball than there used to be. There used to be days that a 6th place team with a winning record in the ACC or Big 10 for example would be in over a 3rd place team in a mid major conference but not necessarily anymore. Because kids know the NBA scouts will find them wherever they are, they will go to a smaller school and star rather come off the bench at a big school.

I definitely think the conference is down but we do have 7 teams that have won at least 15 games so far and I think when it is all said and done we will still wind up with several teams in the Big Dance.
