Honestly, I think that what he said was about the way things has gone for our FB program the last two seasons, especially after BV and Elliott left, and Dabo made a stab at promoting within at the two most important positions on a FB team with the OC and DC.

There is no doubt in anyone's mind that Dabo has corrected one of his mistakes with the OC change, and the court of fan opinion is still out with the Goodwin hire. IMPO, Wes Goodwin is holding by the talent that BV had brought in, and by the fact that Clemson has for a very long time brought in some pretty good defensive talent.

I think what makes or breaks Goodwin, will be his in game ability to call the defense, and with making half time adjustments that can slow or stop what the opposing offenses are doing that will give our offence a chance to make up for any scoring disadvantages we may have had in the first half.

But then again, it could be a role reversal that was with BV and Elliott where BV's defense saved Tony in many games that he could have lost if not for BV having pretty close to a shutdown defense. It could be that Garrett's offense can score enough points to make up for any slackness of a Goodwin coached defense. If that do happen to be the case, I hope that Dabo recognizes it, and doesn't hesitate to fix it while we're still bringing in some of the countries better defensive talent!!!!
