Rank our softball pitchers this year

Obviously Cagle is #1
Last year, I'd've said Brooke was #2, but now it looks like Regan is #2
Millie would be #3 - I think year before last she'd've been the #2 also
Brooke would be #4. Rough start to the season and very rough starts to the last couple of games. Hope she can pull it together.

Haven't seen enough of the rest of them.

I'm very comfortable with either Cagle or Spencer in the circle. Millie looked really good last week. Hopefully she can keep that up. Really hoping Brooke can get things together and get back to where she was last season.

I think part of the problem is we're/they're going from playing small schools with decent talent to top-tier schools with elite talent. Not much in between. Makes it hard for the pitchers and hitters to know where they are.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Cagle is Cagle...she'd probably be #1 on a lot of elite teams also. We're

just not giving her much (any?) support in the big games. Unfortunately, she almost has to be perfect for us to win a big game (no walks and hitting her spot on each and every pitch) and she probably also needs to go 2-4 at the plate. Not easy.

I'd say Regan is currently #2A with Millie #2B (based on her last (2) outings). Brooke is struggling with her control and her strikes are just "too pretty". Olivia has looked good and Rittman needs to keep getting her reps at the opportune time.

Next year is going to be interesting...we need to hit the portal for at least (1) proven pitcher IMHO. The series with UNC and then the Coot game will tell us a lot.
