Not sure why many coots would be in Upstate NY that day, but I would say not too many.

My guess would be 3,250 max... Maybe even less...

Somone said we sold 2,250 from our block, but Clemson fans seemed to be sprinkled throughout the crowd. We brought WAY more fans to B.C. the first time we played them in 2006.

Although I went to a banquet here early last Spring and they had a great Clemson turnout. Had to be 200 people there.

I think 4k is a stretch only because if we sold 2,250 through our block, I have a hard time believing there were another 1,750 Clemson fans elsewhere in the building.

there was a coot yelling "Go Gamec0cks" as we entered the dome.

Then he yelled "Jadaveon Clowney" and started laughing. Not sure if serious or just stupid. At least he wasn't wearing a "Coots 4 'Cuse" shirt.

I figured 4-5k...probably closer to 4k. You guys sold 2700 of the 3000 seat visitors allotment...I figured you had easily another 1500 elsewhere. The last crowd of visitors that big was WVU. VTech used to bring 4-5k when they were in the Big East.
Question for next year?
How big is the Visitor Section? How much do the tix cost? Is there a game day cash lot that visiting fans can congregate at to tailgate? Cuse should travel decently to Clemson...not sure if we get to 4k but it should be more than a family and girlfriend's visiting section.

cheapest game was $50 or $60. Parking is available for free, but you'll have to walk quite a ways. We'll be happy to prep ya next year the way you did our fans this year. Tnet will answer all your Clemson gameday questions

It might be best to either buy a parking pass off of stub hub or pay cash and park "downtown". The lots downtown are closer than the free general parking and usually aren't too crazy expensive.

You'll do more walking this way, but when I was in grad school, that was the route I took. I'm sure there's a CatBus map available on the clemson website if you want to do that.
If you want to setup your own tailgate, best listen to these more experienced vets.

The Carrier Dome mic'd your band for you...BTW, awesome to see a visiting band. I know it was a smaller version but it was a good touch. I had a few convo's with Clemson Fans at the Dome: They loved the beer, being dry. Too bad we had that rogue rainstorm about 2 hours prior to kickoff. My tailgate had 200 people but only a a 3 Tiger fans showed up.

Hey Mark

Thanks for the invitation. I didn't even make the game. With all of the Army silliness going on, my TDY to Fort Drum got axed.
What sucks is that I had the green light from my frau to go months ago. Then my TDY popped up and it was awesome. Once my TDY was canceled airfare was $800+ -- too much.
This also may prevent me from going to the FSU game.
