I got a harsh, hacking cough late yesterday. No fever. If the cough hadn't been slightly productive I would have declared it pneumonia and gone to the hospital. I happen to have a couple cough suppressants in the cabinet so I took a 'dose,' of both.
I was able to sleep on my belly with my head turned to the side without having a cough wake me but I drown a pillow with mouth drippings.
My exposure to the public is strictly limited but I did a shopping trip Fri or Sat, I can't remember so I reckon that's where I caught this plague.
I know it's aids and I'll die withing the week so pray that my death honors God. BTW, I plan to go kicking and screaming.
Get right with God today, you might meed Him one on one before I do and if I don't make it till Friday pull real hard for our Tigers to make up for me being absent cause you guys and football are not on my eternal agenda.
I'm going to check on Geechie and Celtic after a quickie at the Throne.

and honey (equal parts).
Warm that concoction up and it's as good as any cough syrup (that doesn't have codeine in it).
Rock n Rye also works well in this concoction (instead of brandy).

I took a swig out of a bottle of Smirnoff caramel vodka and put a bit in a cup of coffee. I also had a two year old Kolonpin and took a quarter of that along with two tylenol and a swig of cross the counter cough medicine. I might have had a few mg of another controlled substance, maybe.
What I'd like to have is enough Quaaludes to knock me out until Friday about 6 PM and an IV so I won't starve to death.
BTW, I've never had vodka in coffee but that caramel flavor works very well. Best cupof I've ever had.

the dayum low energy and my sleep being off sucks.
I guess if there’s a bright side it’s that I am unlikely to gain as much holiday weight as usual bc food is not very appealing, nor is beer and wine.
