Portal and NIL

Apr 5, 2022, 4:19 PM

Guess what guys? What we are seeing in Basketball everyday now with the portal is going to be the norm in Football by the end of 2022-23 season with NIL driving most of it. The NCAA and the conferences don't have enough sense to see they are "killing the goose that lays the Golden Eggs!
It's going to happen and when it's all about the team team that can generate the most NIL money, they will control the best players, regardless of who develops them, and the sport we all love the most, College Football will go the way of College Basketball, sad but true.

NIL is a law and conferences have nothing to do with it. Athletes are the same as workers everywhere, money talks and bs walks.

So providing them a quality education, house and feed them is not payment? I'm just talking about what it will do to college football, wait and see. When we are one of the "ROY BUS" for real, you will believe me then....

College basketball is actually circling back to what it was before “one and done”, the days we all said (or claim) we miss. Now the portal has helped us get there, your team is either 23 year old men or really young, last nights game proves it… you know how many minutes a freshman played last night on both teams combined? 3 minutes, and they were all a Kansas freshman, none for UNC. I actually see Basketball becoming a better product.

Sorry, I didn't see your post before I made a similar post and started a new thread.
