This is the first year with it and I absolutely love it. Gives those insecure and control freak pitching coaches who won’t allow their catchers to call games more of a tool to get the signal in quicker. Beats the hell out of the equations the catcher had to decipher and then translate to the pitcher.

So does the catcher get a beeper too?

I'd hate to be the catcher setting up for a fastball when it's really a slider that's coming...especially with a runner on 3rd.

the catcher has been able to use an earpiece in conference games. idk if that has changed to non-conference games this year.
