unless UGA plays Bama and LSU, they will play only 1. Same goes for Bama. Let's not hear about weak scheduling - the rest of the teams on schedules shouldn't have a chance against the Top 10.... should they?

Phil Steele is probably has the 'least ridiculous" pre-season poll in the business.

As far as they go, I like us at #2. He's assuming Riley does his thing and Wes Goodwin takes a step.

Lots to prove, but it's probably more reasonable than all of the pre-season talk about FSU being ACC favorites.

Riley doing his thing it will happen. Wes' Defense wasn't really the problem last season. Take the best Alabama or UGA defense in the past if their offenses went 3 and out most of time they would fail down the stretch. Wes Defense kept Clemson in game with Roosters but offense and special teams did nothing. Few first downs in a row makes all the difference giving defense rest. Specially in ACC and SEC were most of the games are super hot with lots of humidity except maybe Tennessee and Kentucky teams.

I like this DC and he needs a chance before being thrown under the bus. Venables was psycho and maybe fun to watch sometimes, but he was always late getting his calls in and that cost the Tigers big time on many occasions and the worst was that Ohio State game in the playoffs.
The jury’s still out on Riley, but Klubnik is the real deal

Based on Clemson's offensive woes last year that was a very generous ranking.......Dabo must have performed a few miracles this off-season. Are you tigers as confident in Klubnik as Steele?
