Perspective on Dabo (wins/religion, etc)

Clemson has won 10 games how many times under Swinney?

How many years had elapsed since we had our first 10 win season - since I think it was ‘91. I know the immediate remark is, “well, we play more games now.” But a lot of that extension is based on regular season play. If Tommy Bowden had won 9 games every year he was here, he’d likely still be coaching.

Dabo had a mediocre year in 2021 and a decent year with an ugly finish in 2022. Every season squads undergo changes during the year both positive and negative. I think it is a little premature to write this season off. And the fans going ape crap after a loss to a team with a quality QB isn’t needed.

Getting to a playoff and winning a national championship is tough. Alabama, UGA, Clemson and Ohio State are the only programs who have demonstrated any consistency doing this over the last 20 years.

On to religion: in a country that has gone “woke” -what is wrong with someone promoting stability through religious beliefs? 35 years ago, 92 percent of this country shared a large portion of Swinney’s faith calling. Now, I believe it is closer to 70 percent.I think Perry Noble baptizing players is probably overreach, but handing out New Testament bibles happens at numerous locations on campus. At least it did when I attended.
