Without proof you are just typing words.

It would take 4mil a year to get him provided Clemson isn't a non-starter.

3.3M per year at Wichita State. If you think he would come here for anything less than the 4mil range you are kidding yourself.

But wasted it in LittleJohn. No one is going to fill the seats if your not the least bit serious in actually winning. Right now our athletic department has shown that winning is not important in basketball by keeping Brownwell the last four years and showing no indication for change again this year. I used to love Clemson basketball but haven't wasted my time on watching any full games over the past 3 seasons and won't next year either unless our AD shows a will to win in the sport.

and the likelihood of him accepting the head coaching job at Clemson is remote at best. For him, it's definitely not about the money.

He was in a church super club with my parents when I was younger and ate at my house a few times while he was at Winthrop. Him and his wife are genuinely very nice people, totally disagree with character comments below. He spent the younger part of his life growing up in SC and his high school and college years in Roanoke VA area. I never heard one mention from him being a South Carolina Gamecock fan. Ive heard numerous interviews on Sirius xm he's done and he always talks about being a coach from ACC country and remembers he's days following the ACC tournament. Ive never heard him once mention the Gamecocks or the SEC. He is an ACC man at heart and I believe the right job would bring him back to the Carolinas/Virginia. However, I don't have any reason to believe our athletic department will even try to get him unfortunately. Will Wade at VCU is a good option as well and would be very happy with him.

If you hire that cheating piece of crap and wish for the NCAA to be spending a lot of time in Clemson hire him, anyone but him.

GM gets to dance about every year if not every year at WSU having to deal with very few teams in his conference. At CU he would have to go through at least 10 solid programs to do it. Plus, he can recruit JuCos at will which isn't happening here. Don't see how he would leave that situation for anything but an elite program.
