… to provide these hotel rooms to the illegal aliens if the American taxpayer weren’t footing the bill.
It would be delightful to me if Giri Management were to get that pro bono opportunity.
It makes so much sense to turn away veterans for those breaking into our country.
This is yet again an example of how our border policy is not working.

From a business perspective, long term occupancy from asylum seekers provides greater economic return than weekend occupancy.
Albeit there’s some ethical considerations if reservations were cancelled. But it’s not shocking that businesses act to maximize profits.

Of course that happens. Crony capitalism certainly happens where politicians look after their supporters too.
There is no dispute that the government doles out money to "private" entities. That's the point, there should be less of this. Don't get me started on the ethanol BS.
MA is the only state with a law that codifies providing shelter so I would expect more illegal immigrants to head that way to get their "free" housing.
It's disgraceful to me that veterans were kicked out of their hotels to provide what will probably be long term housing for non citizens. I suspect large tents and butane heaters on MA government property could have performed the same duty although certainly the digs wouldn't be as nice.

The left has figured out it no longer has to hide its true feelings about hating America, Jews, etc. It's so effectively brainwashed its voters to feel the same way that's there's not any tangible downside for them giving this country the finger.
