Why the heck were there no cops in the theater?

Jul 20, 2012, 12:49 PM

Maybe I haven't read enough about the details, but shouldn't our killer have had a harder time getting into a theater wearing a gas mask and toting a shotgun and rifle on his back? There are usually cops posted up for a matinee showing of a crappy Tyler Perry movie, you'd think there would be at least one around for the biggest release of the summer at midnight. Even if there was a cop around, couldn't he do more to help? If I have trouble smuggling a couple cheeseburgers in, I just feel like it should've been more difficult for him.

I never see cops at the theater we go normally go to.***

Previous 3 movies I've seen in theaters: Spiderman, Prometheus, The Grey... yep all black comedies

So are you just wanting us to start carrying on about how

Jul 20, 2012, 12:52 PM

there probably were no cops because there aren't the type of people who watch Tyler Perry movies in Colorado?

Black movies = cops

Jul 20, 2012, 12:52 PM

harry potter = no cops

I noticed that trend several years ago at the theater in Greenville. There were cops at the door when we went to see Drumline. but for the harry potters, when people are lined up around the corner, there were never any cops.

Although the last "black movie" I saw in the theater was CB4 at the Astro in '94 so I don't really know.

Drumline, lulz.

I've seen it a lot too. But it's mostly like 8 Mile; the last 5 minutes is all I really want to see.
