I am confused, I thought Jones said he was better than Sammy Watkins, but NFL scouts say Watkins is a first rounder could he have left after his freshman year?

And to think not is just plain foolish. Not to say Jones would have done any different here but he may have had a different outcome had he come to Clemson. You never know.....the little choices you make can have a large inpact.

being told in no uncertain terms that the rejection of Dwight Jones was a clear indication that Barker hated winning and this would spell the end of Clemson football. They seemed pretty sure.
Dwight Jones and Jo Jo Cox are the two I remember. I hated it at the time also, but not for the rejections or for the overall concept that a student admitted to Clemson should be able to do the work. I hated it because they waited until very close to signing day before rejecting these two. It was unforgivable, made our coaches look foolish and put these kids in a really bad spot. They fixed that process. I don't know of any big misses since, but maybe they catch it before it becomes an issue. Can you name some of the others that the AARC kept us from getting?
Regardless, Jones was the biggest one. And the fact that he ended up at UNC-Chapel Hill was even bigger. Now, of course, we see that he did not have the career we were expecting, has questions with regard to his character, and went to a school that was completely corrupt. Where are all the people that were bemoaning Barker back then? Where are the "I guess they made a good call" posts?

All of the best skill players went behind our 5th year senior o-linemen, that's right none of them got drafted , but all the other top teams in the nation had o-linemen drafted . Sunshine pumping suckers is all that exist on this site . Keep it up soon u will be talking about the virtues of finishing 4th in the ACC.
