Long, long time ago. We had a couple of guys on our team that eventually signed with UGA, but Vince Dooley never came by helicopter to see them. (I graduated in 1969.)

Starting QB was a sophomore that some of y'all might remember his name - Ray Goff.

Did you know Steve Farnsworth, Pat Rodrigue and Larry Kohn? Graduated HS with the first two along with Larry's brother Randy who played baseball there. Another guy from our area who was really good was Steve Greer from Greer HS. Saw Billy Payne, former Augusta National chairman, was on the 1967 roster.
