Miami's Flawed Argument

Feb 19, 2013, 2:17 PM

Miami's response to the NCAA includes:

"Regardless of where blame lies internally with the NCAA, even one individual, one act, one instance of malfeasance both taints the entire process and breaches the public’s trust."

Miami's own argument hurts them. The NCAA should respond "regardless of where blame lies internally at MIAMI, even one individual (alumni, player, booster, or coach), one act, one instance of malfeasance both taints the ENTIRE MIAMI ATHLETIC program and breaches the public's trust and that of member schools."

They've had a a postseason ban for 2 years consisting of 3 postseason games and self reduction in scholies. There is no reason for this to take this long and the cloud of investigation itself has hurt recruiting. The NCAA is a joke

NCAA takes its on time

If 1/2 of this is true about Miami they might be lucky if they are not given a few years to correct their program, they are only now trying to do what is right to please the NCAA where were they standing for over the 10 years this was going on, no way they can say that no one knew PSU tried that

I just think the NCAA is in the wrong on so many issues. This to me is the culmination of what everyone already knew.

Miami might learn a valuabe lesson
As I was told as a very young boy,,When you have your hand caught in a lions mouth, rub its head till you are able to get away
Miami throwing rocks while living in a glass house is not going to be to their advantage
