Just need to scalp outside the stadium. You will get tickets for dirt cheap.

of scalpers in Clemson the past few years trying to capitalize off all the big games and with that influx of scalpers comes an influx of fake tickets. It's usually upper deck tickets that end up being fakes too. The game vs FSU last year apparently had a lot of people get scammed on fake upper deck tickets bought outside the stadium.

I'm torn between buying on stubhub or waiting till getting in town. Prepared to pay decent amount, but biggest concern is getting scammed. Any way to spot the fakes or are they that good?

printed off tickets you see from stubhub or online ticket sites. If I were buying tickets like that I'd make sure to check stubhub and other sites to make sure the tickets you're buying aren't listed on there. A lot of times scammers will try to sell the same fake tickets on other platforms. Other than that just use your judgement. Most people that get scammed don't even consider people selling fake tickets to even be a possibility so they'll trust anyone.

thats not true. I purchased tickets for well under that for ND opposed to that one half of football against FSU that year with Jameis. (56-14)
Notre Dame tickets actually dropped to earthly, once everyone realized the hurricane was coming.

Uhh stub hub has tickets listed at $169 for UD and will probably go down a little more. Not cheap, but not horrible considering the game. I need tickets as well, but understand that not getting season tickets through IPTAY means I pay the price come single game tickets.

It's the buyers who determine the price of the tickets.....

not the sellers. I've never seen anyone sell something where somebody wasn't willing to pay the price. I have no desire to sell my tickets, but there is always a price where the tickets are worth more to them than to me. I am sure that I am not alone.

I don't know about Stub Hub, however, I can speak about ticket holders. We used to get season tickets, but gave them up when we had children and attended their sporting events on Saturdays. People really aren't asking that much. You need to realize that they pay hefty Iptay fees on top of ticket prices. If you divide out that fee and add it to the ticket price, the price per ticket seems more reasonable. You can't expect to pay face value and not have to pay what it cost to get those tickets. Get your own season tickets and you will see what I mean. Go Tigers!

I have a solution for you

Become a season ticket-holder.
Maybe then you would understand that "face value" really isn't face value and $300 for a ticket really isn't all that insane.
It's called capitalism. Nobody is going to go through the trouble of buying season tickets as well as marketing them on a third-party website for zero profit. That would be the definition of insanity.
Honestly, I wouldn't come off of my lower deck tickets for anything less than $350 a piece. Ive spent entirely too much in fees over the years just to be able to hold on to my current seating and parking arrangement.
Not sure what the FSU game three years ago has to do with the price Iptay donors and season ticket-holder are asked to pay.
