OL Dustin Fry played a key role in Clemson’s success in the early-to-mid 00s. PolkSports.com provided a brief overview of Fry’s playing time at Clemson:

“He [Dustin Fry] then played collegiately at Clemson, letting for four seasons and earning All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors in 2006. He was nominated for the Rimington Award, given annually to the top lineman in college football, and started in the 2007 Senior Bowl.”

ArkansasRazorbacks.com described Fry’s Clemson time as follows::

Fry lettered four years with Clemson and was a first-team All-ACC center and a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American on the 2006 offense that averaged a school-record 6.5 yards per play.

In 2007, Clemson Strength Coach Joey Batson described Dustin Fry this way (according to ClemsonTigers.com):

“Dustin is considered to be one of the top centers in the country. For a big man, Dustin displays tremendous power and quickness. He has won several off season strength and conditioning awards at Clemson. He is a great leader in the weight room as well as on the field.” Fry started all 13 games this season at center, earning Second-Team All-ACC honors.

After Clemson:

The St. Louis Rams selected Dustin Fry with Pick 139 (5th Round) in the 2007 NFL Draft. He played for the Rams in 2007. According to Wikipedia:

St. Louis Rams
Fry was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the fifth round (139th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft. In his rookie season he played in four games and made his NFL debut at the Cincinnati Bengals on December 9.

Fry was released from the Rams' practice squad on October 28, 2008, to make room for offensive tackle Jason Capizzi.

Cleveland Browns
Fry was signed to the practice squad of the Cleveland Browns on November 5, 2008. After finishing the season on the practice squad, he was re-signed to a future contract on January 7, 2009. He was waived during final cuts on September 5.

Carolina Panthers
Fry was signed to the practice squad of the Carolina Panthers on September 6, 2009.

Denver Broncos
Fry signed a future contract with the Denver Broncos on January 7, 2010.
On August 18, 2010, he was waived by the Broncos.

After his NFL playing time ended, Fry moved into coaching. He spent three seasons (2012-2014) as an offensive graduate assistant at Clemson. According to ArkansasRazorbacks.com:

In his three years at Clemson, he helped the Tigers to a 31-7 record with two top-10 finishes. He was a player development coach with the offensive line and helped center Dalton Freeman earn first-team All-America honors in 2012.

He served as the offensive line coach for three seasons at SMU (2015-2017). According to ArkansasRazorbacks.com:

“At SMU, Fry’s offensive line cleared paths for a 1,000-yard rusher in both 2016 and 2017. His 2017 unit blocked for the Mustangs’ offense to produce 3,000-plus passing yards and 2,000-plus rushing yards.”

He also coached at Arkansas 2018-2019.

Dustin Fry is currently the head coach at Polk County High School. 2023 was his first year as head coach.

DL Myles Murphy (2020-2022) was a highly-rated recruit when he came to Clemson. He was part of a highly-rated recruiting class. According to excerpts from Murphy’s bio on ClemsonTigers.com:

Former Top 5 national recruit who earned Freshman All-America honors from several outlets in 2020 and a fourth-team All-American selection from Phil Steele in 2021 … credited with 139 tackles (37.0 for loss), 17.5 sacks, six forced fumbles and six pass breakups in 1,543 snaps over 38 games (27 starts) … joined Gaines Adams, Vic Beasley and Clelin Ferrell as the only Clemson players since 2000 to post multiple seasons with multiple forced fumbles and at least four sacks … joined Louisville’s Yasir Abdullah as the only two Power Five players to record at least 35 tackles for loss and at least six forced fumbles across the 2020-22 seasons … was the only player in the country to produce at least 10 tackles for loss and at least one forced fumble in each of those three seasons.

2022: First-team All-ACC selection … second-team All-ACC honoree by the AP … third-team All-ACC selection by Phil Steele … credited with 45 tackles (11.0 for loss), a team-high-tying 6.5 sacks, three pass breakups and a forced fumble in 580 defensive snaps over 13 games (11 starts) … named ESPN’s 33rd-best player in college football for 2022

After Clemson:

The Cincinnati Bengals selected Myles Murphy with Pick 28 (1st Round) in the 2023 NFL Draft. According to ESPN, Murphy registered the following stats in his first NFL season:
