Tug suffered the misfortune of a house fire.
He has been inspirational in his rebuild, including some fun projects in his backyard.

Can't remember which I bought last but it was one of two .45's:
Either a Glock 30SF, or my Springfield Operator.
Looking forward to treating myself to a Springfield M1A after I finish my next degree.

Not bad at all, my next pistol will be a Glock 10mm - great combination of stopping power and capacity.

we have a handgun at the ready at the house, but it was gifted to us a few years ago.
I've also always had some old family shotguns around.
I've just never actually bought a firearm.

I bought a Henry Arms .22 magnum repeater last spring to shoot squirrels and rabbits, it’s loads of fun to walk around the farm with in the spring and summer out scouting.

I've shot in the past, mostly borrowed or rented. I like the way the Sigs shoot, in particular the P226, but didn't want to spend $1300 on my first, so I cut that in half and went with the P365 X-Macro.
It's bigger than the basic P365 or the P365 XL, but I don't plan to carry every day. This will go to the range with me and otherwise live in a quick release safe next to the bed.
No pics because "in transit to store for pickup" so ... happy Christmas to me.

Now my dad had already stocked us for the zombie apocalypse.
Off the top of my head, I'm leaving some out I know....
.22 revolver .32 revolver .38 revolver (x2 - 1 is a Judge) .40 auto pistol 9mm auto pistol (x2) .45 auto pistol .357 revolver .44 mag pistol
For rifles we have... .22 pump 30-30 Marlin - Lever action Weatherby 30-06 - bolt 700 win mag - Bolt .308 - bolt .270 Browning bolt .7mm bolt (x2) AR-15 (.223) auto
shotguns? Class. Just curious, what are you going to do with it? I didn’t even know they made a 28g SBE, I have a 12g SBE for waterfowl and that’s usually how I see that gun used. 20’s, 410’s, 28’s for quail is where my mind goes, or shoulder injuries and people don’t want to shoot 12g anymore.

I've hunted doves with a 28 gauge for years and 15 or so years ago when I was hunting wild quail frequently in TX, used a 28 or 20 exclusively.
With the advent of TSS shot, I've been turkey hunting with a 28 and even .410 almost exclusively. I do a tremendous amount of turkey hunting self guided all over the country every year. The 28 is light, a pleasure to shoot at upland game and with TSS shot is very lethal 40 -45 yds out on turkeys.
I plan on duck hunting with this new gun too. Again, the heavier than lead shot makes the 28 a killer in a duck blind and definitely so turkey hunting. The 28 has always been hell on doves and quail.

There was a really good deal at Palmetto State for it, but then I came across an even better one with he 9mm. Ultimately the 9mm is more practical but I've seen reviews that the .40 really doesn't kick that bad. It's definitely a fun small 9mm to shoot.

Stiffest effing clip springs I’ve ever seen. I’m a reasonably strong guy and it’s a mo-fo getting the last bullet in the clip. I keep thinking they’ll break in but nope. There is zero way any lady I know could load the clips to capacity.

Not a problem for me since I'm stronger than the average male.
But no, seriously, yeah, they're a #####.
I've also noted the side catch doesn't operate as smoothly as other firearms, notably compared to my Glock 22.
