Jackie and Shadow continue to sit on eggs that will never hatch. There's a foot of snow on the nest and about 18 inches of new snow in the valley. During March they had over 33 inches of snow. I think so far this year they have had 77 inches.

Shadow spent the night on the nest Friday night. They left the nest unattended for 15 mins on one occasion and 20+ minutes on another. Who knows when they will quit sitting on nest, but I would guess sooner than later. Maybe after snow melts.

Thanks for the update. I have still been checking in from time to time. The view is gorgeous. Be something if that was the view from outside the window of your house, on your deck, or similar.

That would be the 100 million dollar view. If I was much younger, even though I think Cali. sucks, I would consider moving to Big Bear Valley, Cali. If you get on internet there are some you tube videos of driving around the town during the snow. Small town which makes it living on tourists in the summer.

The Ravens will eat them. That's what I watched happen last year. Doesn't take them but a few minutes.
