Something that's as non-controversial as talking political stuff can be!

What are your favorite presidential moments (not necessarily favorite presidents)?

I always get chills watching George W Bush at the WTC Ground Zero. One of the greatest ad-libbed presidential lines ever - "I hear you! And the people who did this will hear ALL of us soon!" to chants of USA-USA-USA from all the bone-weary first responders.

Several Reagan moments:
"Mr Gorbachev - Tear Down This Wall!"
The Space Shuttle Challenger speech
D-Day Anniversary speech

Kennedy - "We shall go to the moon!"

Those are all good ones. I'd add the "He counted on America to be passive. He counted wrong" speech by RR after we bombed Libya. I was pretty young back then but it made quite an impression.

Wasn't a huge W fan, but when he flew out to the aircraft carrier was pretty sweet.
GW was not my favorite as a President, but he is the President that I would most like to have a beer with.

Reagan Berlin Wall speech has to be up there.

And while I wasn't actually alive, listening to the FDR prayer on D-Day is up there.
