If Clemson, FSU, Miami, VA Tech, UNC and one other team (NC State, UVA, BC) could have all be year in / year out top 25 caliber teams, I think the ACC would be in a better place today.

WAY more money if FSU, Miami, Virginia Tech and one or two other teams weren't in the playoff hunt even half the time.

While Clemson was investing in football everyone else was sitting on the sidelines. It was bound to happen that the conference as a whole was going to get left behind in terms of conference rating.

been horrible. VT, Miami, NCSU, FSU, UNC you would think would have made a little bit of noise.. maybe Miami had a year or two there where they were ranked high but the rest were really crappy opponents... never gave us much of a bump. They're all scared when they play out of conference opponents.

other conferences. The problem is NO ONE CARES, not even their own alumni. They can't fill 50k seat stadiums unless they play Clemson or FSU unless its a rival.

OK....if you gonna play the imagine game, imagine our teams the past two years if TL16 stayed and then took a Covid year. OMGoodness. Good for him that he didn't. Bad for us.
