Nah...I have sern it for years. They are anti-Jew. Jews are the white oppressors. That's the way they see it. They support the Palestinians because they are people of color. It's mindless. They are silent about the teal oppressors, the leaders and the Muslim countries general speaking. Israel is fine. It's the surrounding people.

Six million of their people wiped out in the Holocaust and their nation was created as a safe haven response for the refugees, well, I tend to give a wide berth to them when they go full send on someone who surprise attacks, murders, rapes, and tortures their civilians and continues to hold them hostage.
Thus, if being pro-Israel is wrong in this case and that makes me anti-Palestine, so be it. Not sure how many Jewish people these folks think they can murder before the nation Israel gives them everything they have, but they're learning the hard way now.

Hamas attacked Israel. This gives Israel a right to invade the country or city that harbors Hamas. I do hope they can limit civilian casualties. But it's not like Israel had no right to attack Gaza.

And I'm speaking of "anti-Israel" in the broad sense, where you don't think Israel has a right to exist. It is possible to be pro-Jewish while also being critical of how Israel is conducting the war. There's a difference between outright antisemitism and criticizing Netanyahu's war against Hamas.
I don't think you can be pro-Hamas and pro-Israel. Hamas is nothing but a terrorist organization. So, I don't think being pro-Hamas lines up with anything other than being an antisemite and pro-violence. But not everyone in Gaza is part of Hamas. There are innocent people in Gaza.
I think Joe Biden largely is getting this right. He is anti-Hamas and he is pro-Israel. At the same time, there are citizens in Gaza in harm's way that are innocent, and that need help.

I certainly think it's possible but when you listen to the left wing trash at these protests it's pretty clear most of them want Israel to cease to exist. They aren't harassing random Jewish students because they've got a beef with Israeli military policy and they aren't chanting from the river to the sea because their ideal world includes the existence of Israel. Reasonable people can def be pro Jewish and anti Israeli but these aren't normal people and if you don't believe me go listen to them in their own words.

Extremists use anger and other emotion to intensify and sustain the movement. The extremists often change the initial cause, position and desired outcome. Protests tend to drift towards radicalism, unlawfulness, violence, destruction of property, infringement of the rights of others etc. Street criminals may join the protests and mob behavior can result. Initial moral justification of some protesters often gets lost when looking at the end product.
The point _ what starts out as free speech against a potential injustice often turns into a chit show.

I wouldn't call myself pro-Jew, -Christian, -Muslim, -atheist, or any other person based solely on their religious affiliation or lack thereof.
To the extent we're talking about Jewishness as an ethnicity, I would give a similar answer but replace religions with ethnicities.
Meanwhile, I'm not pro-Israel or pro- any other country. If we're talking about agreeing on Israel's conduct right now in the Gaza War, then that's something I could be for or against, but I'd never say I was pro- or anti- a country in a blanket sense.

They were already extremists. There will always be more. Maybe next time they will think twice about their terrorist attack on Israel? Maybe they won't? One thing for sure is that there will never be a two state solution. Those days of that possibility are over. That was a huge blunder by Hamas which they will never rebound. They haven't seen the end of it either. It's going to be a lot harsher over the next 20 years.

I am not sure what Bibi's motives are, but the Gazans are done. Hamas made it so there is no future. Personally, I hope Gaza just becomes all Israel. It's the only way for safety for Israel. Hamas proved that.
