Jimbo thought when the NIL started that he was on EZ street. Problem is, he was on EZ street when TAM offered him one of the dumbest contracts ever. I am quite sure, though, he sleeps well at night knowing he won't have to deliver pizzas to support his (forced) retirement.

They haven't had a national title since before WW2.
They haven't won a conference title since 1998. (Big 12)
They haven't even had a 10 win season in 25 years.
I can't wrap my brain around why everyone thinks they're relevant year in and year out.

Same those yingyangs do every year with Southern Cal and others right up there with TAMU. Occasionally, it works out; most of the time, it's a no go.
Hence, why I despise all of those way-to-early, preseason and non-CFP polls.
