Agreed but I am not sure coots can score enough to win. Let's not forget they have an up and down QB, suspect O line, no running game, their best receiver a tight end transferred to FSU, and a new unproven offensive coordinator. Yeah I know he had stints in the NFL but they were bad stints. So UNCheat has a shot even with a bad porous defense. Too bad both teams can't lose.

I would love to see the Coots lose but don’t really expect it. UNC does not have the receivers they had last year and the D is still suspect.
If the Coots start fast the game could get out of hand pretty quickly.

Would love to see SCar go down in flames, but historically they have some sort of magic spell that protects them from losing openers to NC teams--even higher ranked ones.
Personally, UNC's #21 ranking is suspect and will remain so until they show they can win games like this one.

They will lose. They always lose. They suck and never have been good. We were beat last year by one point. This is just like losing to Pitt or somebody randomly.
It means absolutely nothing to us. It meant the world to them.
Sometimes i wonder how Clemson people actually are.

You are underestimating the suckage of UNC and NC State.
They always find a way to blow games that would help the ACC.

Except for when Howell, as a freshman, beat the coots down in Charlotte. I was there with a coot and it was awesome!

SC played us tough last year and then we went right out the next game and blew away UNC. That right there tells me SC has more than enough to beat UNC. I don't know if they will, but I do think they have more talent overall than UNC.
Nothing would please me more than to be wrong about this one. I will say I don't think SC will have much of a running game and that will put more pressure on Rattler, who is notoriously a slow starter. That might be the one thing that UNC can take advantage of if they can start quick and make SC play from behind. That is what I will be hoping for.

It meant a lot to me. I grew up in SC , have lived it my entire life. My own family was 40/60 Tigers to Coots fans.
When you say it didn't mean anything to "us" to lose to the Coots...you aren't speaking on my behalf.

Will beat UNC. That defense last year was so horrible and I’m not sure it will be better this year.
I’ll be rooting for the Tarheels in this one though! I would love for SC to lost to Mississippi St too!
