Streeter and Goodwin experiment is a failure

Goodwin performed much better than Streeter, but the defense still underperformed most of the season with the talent on that side of the ball.
Streeter…no further explanation needed. Self explanatory.
I had high hopes and trusted Dabo made decent moves based on his history, but this was an epic mistake. He should’ve gone on a nationwide search for true coordinators.

100% with you. We all knew it, but “we trust in Dabo”. Loved the guy but he’s starting to expose himself as being a cuck

Agreed. Wes is too wet behind the ears. His first on the field coaching gig is taking over as DC. ###? Oops! I forgot that Dabo’s roommate is Co-D coordinator. Does he have any other college roommates that need a job?

Streeter is a train wreck. He's not a top 50 OC. But Dabo is all about promoting from within. He'll be OC as long as he wants it, and as long as Dabo is here.
Goodwin is ok, clearly not anywhere close to Venables. We could do better, but again, Dabo has some warped view about loyalty or is shy about meeting new people, dunno.
That silliness is why our coaching staff as a whole is much much worse than our great years. And that silliness is why we lost today. Every single person on this site knew at start of 4Q that we'd lose if DJ stayed in the game. I believe Dabo knew it too. But Dabo cares more about loyalty than winning. He's already won twice and has his legacy. He's on autopilot these days. He's a caricature of a coach that has become too full of himself. The fire is gone. It's all about him being in the spotlight. Oh, we'll be good. We'll win most games. But Dabo will NEVER be in the championship game again. I hope everyone enjoyed what we got.
Also, I'll be so darn happy when I don't have to watch any more Dabo relatives taking up roster spots and taking plays away from real recruits. Dabo, I do not want to watch your relatives play any more. I hope you don't have any more sons or nephews or 3rd cousins that you'll hide on the Clemson roster. Be respectful to the alumni. The alumni/students ARE Clemson, not Dabo or any other coach.
p.s. when the heck can we get rid of Brad Brownell, the perennial worst basketball coach in the conference? I hate my alumni money paying his million dollar contract to lose 15 games a season.

Defense has been better than the offense but the defense also has like 8-9 guys who are going to get drafted in the next year or two and all of this talent has been unable to stop literally any opposing offense that's been competent. This is likely the most talented defense Goodwin will ever have to work with so if this is the best we will ever get from him he needs to go also. These same players, for the most part, were a top 5 defense last year. This year we aren't even top 30. At least we suspect the offense sucks, at least in part, because the players just aren't very good.

We will find out what kind of coach Dabo is in the coming weeks. At a minimum we need to hire a co offensive coordinator so streeter can “save face”.
I don’t think Wes I the answer either but at least he had been better than street.

Frankly disappointed in both. All that talent coming back on D and we were pedestrian at best. Dragged up and down by some pretty crappy teams like tonight. Goodwin is miles better than Streeter though.
But yes, huge failure on both replacements.
