Brand new season thursday....

only difference, this time its a season that only continues with W's.
sure its been a rough go of it since late January, but I choose to believe in this group of Tigers and will pull for them as hard as I can until they lose.
We get a favorable matchup with FSU who we almost overcame a 17 point deficit at home and lost with literally :00 left on the clock on the road. We know we can beat these guys, and I HOPE we are due to do so.
If we win, we get a North Carolina team which we played one of our worst games with at home and lost by 7. We can beat these guys as well.
The beauty of Thursday is we can actually put all the hooplah, and close losses, and yadah yadah yadah behind us and just play basketball! Coach Brownell, i'm sure, is preaching to the boys to put the disapointing regular season behind them and they have a chance to erase all of that with a good showing in Greensborro
I, for one, am looking forward to it and would love to see us in the semi's on Saturday against (probably) Duke or Maryland.
Hey, it could happen!

I heard what he said the "one time" he called into WCCP and I believe everything he said.
First of all you have to remember who he was listening to and called in to...
I remember him telling playboy micky that he would love to have another shot at UNC in the tourney.

I think we beat FSU. I think we have a great gameplan for UNC, and give ourselves a chance. It will depend on how we convert on the offensive end.
After that, it's gravy.

Love to see it happen! GO TIGERS PROVE MOST OF US WRONG! I would enjoy seeing Jennings just go off - all he has to do is quit thinking, not worry about what anybody else thinks and use his instinctual talent and skills. Booker will do his thing - he has gotten better and more consistent. Rod needs to get his determination back. KJ just needs to get in gear and stay there along with Filer. Roper needs to be the 6th man and pass the ball more - only shooting when open and they will set him up to be open because he is best shooter.
