Kinda odd what doctors have to go through. Not only does someone come in who thinks it's a hoax, didn't get the vaccine, and now needs their time they don't even have because of others just like them, but then you have their family members telling you how to do your job.

I swear I'd tell them fine then (if they have healthcare POA) order some amazon horse medicine and we'll inject him with that, and give him HCQ, and then when he dies, Lin Wood would have to come up with something entirely different.

Maybe present the patient with an a la carte menu when they arrive. Ask them if they want the facilities best treatment standards (list), the right wing nutjob/Qanon treatment standards (list), or the it's all a hoax send me home standard. They can pick upon admission, check the boxes they'd like, sign it, and then it's a non-issue. Talk about freedom and choice. This way the doctor lightens his workload, and he can then tell the family he did everything medically, that they recommended, and the patient still passed. If they complain, you can inform AGAIN them you did everything they told you to do. If they sue you for malpractice, you have the patient's signed authorization for horse dewormer, malaria medicine, and whatever else they wanted.

I have a friend who is a nurse, and she has been saying people have been coming in telling them how to treat them while barely acknowledging they have Covid (because it isn't real)

I get people are scared and they hear these crazy theories about off brand use of medication potentially working on a friend of a friend (and you even have people on here advocating their usage of off brand stuff as "protecting themselves") but to someone's point I have read, if you don't believe in getting vaccinated; if you don't believe in modern science; if you don't believe in highly trained physicians then yes, like Lin Wood says, stay away.

Stay at home and do your herbal remedies. Take your de-wormers. Take your vitamin D and sheep estrogen. Let people who aren't part of this crazy cult get the medical attention they need as opposed to clogging up resources on your fantasties.
