Hotels for Louisville game

Jun 27, 2019, 6:36 PM

Where is the best place to stay for the Louisville weekend? Want to visit Churchill Downs, maybe a distillery tour. Looking for safe place with great nighttime activity close by. Any suggestions?

We stayed at the Seelbach Hotel (Hilton) the first time

Clemson played at Louisville. Cool old-timey hotel.
Recommend.

SEELBACH is the one Kramer followed onto the plane. Still owed him rent, the swine.

Anywhere near 4th St

They’ve got a really cool stretch of bars on 4th street and it’s right in the middle of downtown Louisville. Can walk to Louisville Slugger, Ali Museum. Churchill Downs is close to the UL athletic stadium area if I remember correctly.

it's not really walking distance to the stadium from downtown, but drive to Churchill Downs and park. Enjoy some horse racing and then walk over to the stadium. Assuming it's an evening game.

Downtown is good but don’t drag your feet. They fill up quickly!
